NASA环日摄影卫星在 1月18日前后拍到了巨星球状飞行物。据一观察者介绍：从他们不同的位置来看这些物体是运动的，且极有可能大如地球。如果这些UFO是行星或巨 星彗星，他们应该已经被太阳巨大的引力吸入了。
然而，NASA立体摄影工程科学家 Joe Gurman博士说这些只不过是压缩物体，而且中央数据记录设备正好在1月18日，记录到巨星UFO的那天失灵，从而导致了我们看到的一切。
