为啥青啤瓶身印TSINGTAO而不是QINGDAO？
青啤的瓶身上有个英文：TSINGTAO。森营涛~啥意思？像叫青岛又好像不是。
其实就是青岛的意思，众所周知，我们的汉语拼音是1958年才有的，在此之前，我们走出国门的产品要译成外文，便于认知。其中有一套专门拼写中文的拼音，叫“威妥玛式拼音”，是英国人威妥玛在19世纪后期，也就是清末发明的。
因为是专门服务西方人的，所以不太符合咱们的叫法，比如汉语拼音声母b、d、j、zh会被拼成p、t、ch、ch，如果用汉字来对照的话，那就是“东”、“通”不分、“张”、“常”不分，可能外国人只想知道个大概就行，不需要那么准确。北京会被译成 Peking、重庆被译成ChungKing、南京被译成NanKing、所以青岛被译成TsingTao就不奇怪了。#青岛头条#
