学习英法德语语法都必须认识这30个拉丁语常用字
英语表“主语”的subject，表“宾语”的object，表“形容词”的adjective，表“叹词”的interjection都用到jec-。它是拉丁语表“扔”的词根jac-的读音变化。
英语至少有230个单词用到jec-，绝大多数经由法语源自拉丁语。
强烈建议您大概熟悉一下拉丁语动词jacio。
【拉丁语】jacio（古典式发音/ˈi̯a.ki.oː/，教会式发音/ˈja.t͡ʃi.o/）：jacio, jacere, jeci, jactus v. throw, hurl, cast; throw away; utter;
拆解：jac+i+o。
-o是表“第一人称单数后缀。
所以，拉丁语的jacio相当于英语的I throw等。
认识源自的前缀sub-，建议同时顺便了解源自希腊语的hypo-，表“在……下”，就完全不用再背subject。

在阅读材料中，经常会出现一些新造词，特别是科技方面内容的。比如，这篇中考英语阅读题中的microplastic就是一个新造的单词。
词典中，通常查不到这些新造词的意思。不过，根据构词法（词根、前缀、后缀），则可以很容易猜出这些词的大概意思。因为microplastic=micro+plastic，所以它的大概意思就是“微塑料”或者“塑料微粒”。
其实，前缀micro用途很广，比如微软公司Microsoft（就是微型软件micro+software的意思）。常用的单词还有：
