The first must-visit destination in Beijing is the Forbidden City, which served as the imperial palace for the Ming and Qing dynasties for over 500 years. The magnificent structures and the intricate decorations inside the Forbidden City are simply breathtaking, giving visitors a glimpse of the grandeur and power of the ancient Chinese emperors.
