A Fox And A Crow
A fox once saw a crow fly off with a piece of cheese in its beak and settle on a branch of a tree.
"Thats for me, as I am a fox," said Master Reynard, and he walked up to the foot of the tree.
"Good day, Mistress Crow," he cried, “How well you are looking today, how glossy your feathers, how bright your eye. I feel sure your voice must surpass that of other birds, just as your figure does, let me hear but one song from you that I may greet you as the Queen of Birds."
The crow lifted up her head and began to caw her best, but the moment she opened her month the piece of cheese fell to the ground, only to be snapped up by Master Fox.
"That will do," said he, "That was all I wanted, In exchange for your cheese I will give you a piece of advice for the future. Do not trust flatterers."

狐狸和乌鸦
一只狐狸看到一只乌鸦嘴里衔着一块奶酪并停在了树枝上。
“奶酪是我的，因为我是一只狐狸，”狐狸先生说，接着他走到了树下。
“你好，乌鸦小姐，”狐狸大喊道，“你今天看起来多么的美丽啊，羽毛有光泽，眼神清丽。我敢保证你今天的嗓子一定比别的鸟儿都要动听，如同你的形象。请让我听听你这鸟中女王的歌声吧。”
乌鸦抬起她的头，开始用最好的嗓音唱起了歌，但就在她张口的那一刹那，嘴里的奶酪掉在了地上，被狐狸拾起。
“这就够了，”狐狸说，”这就是我想要的。作为对你奶酪是交换，我给了你有关未来的美好建议。不要相信谄媚的话。“
