To be specific, in the first cartoon, with a headset on his head, a student is so obsessed with the entertainment on a computer. Conversely, in the second one, thinking intently, one student is writing his paper. And the caption goes that we ought to change college education approaches.
The cartoonist, from my perspective, may want to trigger our attention to the significance of strict college education. To begin with, as the digital devices go increasingly prevalent, a great amount of college students tend to be obsessed with cyber entertainments due to the lack of self-discipline and self-motivation, and thus, reforms on education deserve our attention. In addition, it is undeniable that strict education plays a vital role in shaping better generations, and it may accelerate our steps toward success in fierce competitions. And I can think of no better illustration than Helen Keller, who, being deaf and blind, but has achieved remarkable success thanks to the strictdisciplines during learning.
In light of what is mentioned above, we should spare no efforts to embrace strict education so as to build a stronger nation, and only in this way, may we expect a more promising future.

At the first sight of this picture, we may be astonished by the reality that the little girl is dreaming of being an Internet celebrity since it is a fabulously profitable occupation. Apparently, the teacher also deems the career planning incredible with her hand covering her month and her eyes wide open. And the caption indicates “the dream of becoming an Internet celebrity ”.
From the thought-provoking drawing, it can be inferred that the younger generation has been somewhat misled by social media. As the Internet celebrity economy sweeps through every corner of the world, the whole society has been impressed and entertained. For some moment, even adults are keen on getting involved as to make a living in this way, which is seemingly a short cut to fortune and fame, something perceived as a symbol of accomplishment. Hence kids are undoubtedly unable to tell whether being a celebrity on the Internet can be a decent job or not.
Nevertheless, adults are obliged to make it clear to children that what endures in life is not the superficial objects boasted by these Internet stars but rather our conscience and intelligence. Moreover, schools are also expected to give priority to the education on values instead of exclusive focus on knowledge. And the combined efforts will definitely usher in a more harmonious society.

Thus, however hard he tries, it is simply unlikely for him to gain the upper hand. And the caption goes that artificial intelligence machines are competing with human beings for jobs.
The cartoonist, from my perspective, may seek to trigger our attention to the impact artificial intelligence or A.I. is prone to exert on human beings. Although A.I. has been a household name and the past few years have witnessed its popularity, it seldom occurs to us that humans will eventually be substituted with A.I. in various fields once dominated by us. Machines have undoubtedly proved to be more effective and efficient in assembly lines as a result of the reality that they can maintain dazzlingly good performance for a long stretch of time, which is virtually impossible for any creatures. And the harsh truth is that sites such as plants, warehouses where human labor used to abound are now teeming with machines. Nevertheless, humans have no reason to be intimidated since no matter how productive machines can be, they are incapable of being imaginative and innovative, which makes it impossible for them to well execute those undertakings entailing creativity.
In light of the aforementioned discussions, human beings are not supposed to be in panic but must be alert. Only if we persisted in the improvement of our abilities would we never be replaced.

By contrast, in the right one, despite the absence of a real teacher, the student is apparently fascinated by the online learning, wearing a sweet smile. And the caption goes that education on-line and traditional education.
The cartoonist, from my perspective, may want to trigger our attention to the differences of these two types of education approaches. To begin with, as the digital age emerges, ways of learning have undergone a radical reform. The traditional classrooms do bring students numerous benefits such as face-to-face interaction, but rigorous disciplines highly demanded in such educational methods also restrain them from diversified growth. While the online education can be the most ideal complement because it grants listeners adequate freedom, something unlikely to be obtained in the off-line classes. However, never can we afford to ignore the flaws in online education including the uncertainty in learning effects. So, it is highly advisable to use them properly in accordance with particular needs.
To conclude, online learning does not pose a threat to the former and the two ways of education do no contradict each other. Both the government and the society should be open-minded enough to adopt these two and step up our efforts to promote a more reasonable combination of them.
