在平成时代最后的倒计时中，明仁天皇的孙女真子公主的婚事却又一次进入了人们的视野。

27岁的真子公主在大学时期就开始与同校的平民同学小室圭(28岁)交往。两人于9月3日召开记者会，正式宣布订婚，并表示婚礼将于11月4日举行。

但要说为何真子公主的婚礼如此一波三折，就不得不提及其平民未婚夫家庭的财务纠纷了。
据报道，小室圭的亲身父亲在很早就去世，他从小由母亲抚养长大。但其母亲却屡屡被爆出欠债不还的消息，导致两人的婚期受到了牵连。
In February of last year, however, the Imperial Household Agency announced that the date for the wedding was being delayed after reports appeared in the tabloid media concerning a dispute between Mr Komuro’s mother and her former boyfriend over Y4 million (GBP28,312) that he loaned her, in part to cover her son’s university costs.

Kei Komuro, Prince Mako’s longtime suitor whose prospective engagement to her is currently up in the air, claimed in a statement Tuesday that financial troubles blocking the way to his marriage to the princess had already been resolved.
