阿拉伯-美国石油公司阿拉伯-美国石油公司Arabian-AmericanOilCompany开采沙特阿拉伯石油资源的公司。简称阿美石油公司。1933年，美国加利福尼亚美孚石油公司与沙特阿拉伯王国签署协定，获得了在沙特阿拉伯东部进行石油勘探、开采、加工、运输、销售66年的特权。同年开办加利福尼亚-阿拉伯美孚石油公司。1936年该公司与得克萨斯石油公司达成合营协议，称加利福尼亚-得克萨斯石油公司。1939年这个公司取得的租让面积已占沙特阿拉伯领土的2/3。1944年正式用现名。1948年新泽西美孚石油公司和纽约美孚石油公司（即莫比尔石油公司）正式加入阿美石油公司。之后，该公司又同沙特政府签订了海上石油特许协定，相继发现盖瓦尔、塞法尼耶等8个储藏丰富的大油田，并扩建了拉斯坦努拉炼油厂，铺设了从东部波斯湾布盖格和拉斯坦努拉延伸到西部红海延布港的输油管道网。通过当地廉价劳动力和丰富的石油资源获得巨额利润。阿美石油公司不仅独揽了沙特的石油资源，而且在沙特境内拥有自己的行政系统、电台、机场、港口、教育卫生设施，甚至治安部队。1976年沙特政府与该公司达成了由沙特政府全部接管的基本协议。1980年沙特政府付清了全部赔偿费，完成了对公司资产的赎买。至此，阿美石油公司实际上已归沙特政府所有，而公司的原4家母公司只是作为承包者在沙特政府的领导下继续经营业务。该公司的经营范围已超出石油和天然气的加工工业，向其他领域如电力方面扩展。
