旱作农业旱作农业旱作农业在无灌溉条件下靠有限的自然降水所从事的农业生产。又称雨养农业或旱地农业中国干旱、半干旱地区面积占国土总面积的52,5%.其中无灌溉条件的旱耕地约占全国总耕地的51%。中国旱作农业区主要分布在沿昆仑山脉、秦岭、淮河一线以北的大部分地区,特别是内蒙古包头以东的长城沿线和黄土高原地区,大致包括北方巧个省、自治区、直辖市的740多个县,旱耕地面积约占全国总旱地面积的75%。旱作农业区地形复杂.气候条件差异很大,山地、高原、平原、丘陵沟壑、盆地、沙漠、戈壁兼备。年降水量大部分在250一550毫米之间。旱作农业区农业生产条件比较落后,生态环境恶化,水土流失严重,干旱少雨,土地瘩薄,严重影响这一地区农业生产的发展和居民生活水平的提高。旱作农业区应尽可能地利用水利工程,在解决水源问题的同时,积极采取一系列旱作农业生产技术和措施。如通过增施化肥和有机肥培肥地力,以肥调水,精耕细作,蓄水保墒;通过调整布局、改革耕作制度,采取覆盖栽培、种植抗旱品种和抗旱作物等技术,大幅度提高作物产量。农业部于1992年、1993年,在陕西渭南、山西运城、河南洛阳和三门峡实施跨省跨地区旱地小麦高产开发丰收计划项目,推动了当地旱作小麦生产的发展。
