稳压变压器一种具有带空气隙的磁分路和输出端并联谐振电容的特殊变压器。用作稳压电源。其电压稳定性高，稳压范围宽，抗干扰能力强，且有过功率保护的性能。在计算机、机床控制、交通、电信、电视等电子设备中得到广泛的应用。稳压变压器的典型结构形式及其原理电路如图所示, 其中a为心式、b为壳式、c为电路图。图中1～6分别为变压器的铁心，原、副边绕组，绕组骨架等。稳压变压器的工作原理与一般铁磁谐振稳压器相同，但结构比较简单、实用。其中带空气隙磁分路的作用如变压器的漏磁电感，它将输出并联谐振电路与输入电路分开，使原边铁心工作运行在铁心磁化曲线的线性段，与普通小型单相电力变压器相似，但副边铁心借并联谐振电路而运行在磁化曲线的饱和段，如同一只饱和电抗器。当输入电压变化时，并联谐振回路中的电源大小与性质（感性或容性）也起变化，使副边铁心进入饱和或加深饱和，从而使副边铁心在每半周中的磁通几乎恒定。因此，输出电压维持恒值，起到稳压的作用。稳压变压器与普通变压器的主要差别有以下3点。①原边与副边铁心中的磁通不相等，副边铁心的磁通远大于原边铁心的磁通而处于饱和状态。②输入电压U1与输出电压U2之比不能循照匝数比的关系，因为E1=4.44fN1AmBm1E2=4.44fN2AmBs式中E1、E2分别为原、副绕?榈母杏Φ缍?,N1、N2分别为原、副绕组匝数，匝数比N1/N2为n,Am为铁心截面，Bm1、Bs分别为原、副边铁心的磁通密度，所以③原、副边磁通势之间关系不平衡，即不能用一般变压器的关系式N1夒1+N2夒2=N1夒0稳压变压器副边输出端还有一个补偿绕组。它的极性与副绕组相反，用以补偿输入电压变化对输出电压的影响。这是因为副边铁心的磁化曲线饱和段不是理想的水平线,所以输入电压增加时，输出电压要随之升高,起到补偿作用。
