用户界面管理系统用户界面管理系统user interface management system, UIMS用用·905·想促使了用户界面管理系统的诞生。W.N~在1%8年建立的“反馈处理器”是最早的Ulh1So但UIMS作为专门术语是D.J.K出ik在1982年首次提出的。早期UIMS的功能仅限于原型构造或显示管理，可用性较差。1982年召开的图形输人交互技术(以IT)研讨会首次阐述了Ul侧lS的概念、作用及结构模型等，此后UIMS有较快发展，出现了TIGER，GWUIMS，月块rta UIMS等实验系统。so年代中后期出现了一些商品化UIMS。我国也研制了一些实验性系统。用户界面管理系统由两部分组成。其一是构造用户界面的工具集，称为用户界面开发环境或设计环境(UIDE)，其二是用户界面运行支持系统，称为用户界面系统(Uls)，它与应用系统的功能核心共同组成该应用系统。1兀M6框图如图1所示。模型只是一个“执行”模型，不反映整个界面软件生存期，且对于直接操纵方式所需的语义反馈很难适应，目前已提出许多改进。UIMS系统中UIS与应用系统功能核心的关系，涉及到用户界面的运行控制方式，它可分为三种类型:外部控制、内部控制及并行控制，分别如图3的(a)，(b)，(c)所示。外部控制是指用户通过uls进行输人，并以此激发应用程序的各功能模块。内部控制是指应用程序根据输人请求的不同，来取得相应抽象设备的支持。并行控制是指应用程序功能核心与用户界面系统在同一层次上并行运行，它们间的通信协调通过并发进程来实现。设计者二牛┌───────┐│徒───┐││}坏健畅?││├───┤UIMS│││UIDE │││└───┘││┌───┐│││UIS│││└───┘│└───────┘二:程序员┌────┐│应用程序││功能核心│└────┘ ︸︷户!用 终 最图1 UIMS框图目前多数UIMS系统中Ull)E的结构组成采用了1983年在压eheim举行的用户界面管理系统国际研讨会上提出的翻回肠加棋里(如图2所示)。图中表示部件负责用户界面的外部表现，如屏幕管理、图形生成、设备管理、词法反馈及将输人数据转换成内部格式等。对话控制部件将表示部件的数据或请求，经检验传送给应用程序中合适的接口例程，它也将应用程序对请求的回答或其他数据传给表示部件。应用接口是从用户观点看到的应用程序的一种表述，它包括有关数据结构或对象的描述。用户可使用的有关例程(语义)及其限制等。
