旋律旋律melody建立在一定的调式和节拍的基础上，按一定的音高、时值和音量构成的，具有逻辑因素的单声进行。又称曲调。它可以是单声音乐的整体，也可以是多声音乐的组成部分。在音乐作品中，旋律经常是表情达意的主要手段，也是一种反映人们内心感受的特殊语言。构成旋律有两个必不可少的要素：即旋律线（或称音高线）和节奏。旋律线是指音乐在行进过程中，依不同音高的走向而形成的各种直线或曲线的进行方式。节奏是指音的时间关系。当旋律线和各种音乐节奏的长短、快慢、停顿等因素相结合时，旋律才能形成音乐的种种句法和结构。旋律线、节奏和调式的有机结合，并通过一定的音乐结构来加以体现，便是完整的曲调。旋律的分类主要有两种：①声乐旋律和器乐旋律。一般来说，声乐旋律音域较窄、节奏整齐、速度适中，曲调平稳如歌为其主要特征；器乐旋律音域较宽，音的进行有较多较大的跳进，速度、力度的变化幅度较大，节奏复杂和富于特殊的表演技巧性。②歌唱性（咏叙性）旋律和朗诵性（宣叙性）旋律。前者较强调音乐的逻辑性，旋律进行流畅、平稳和结构的均衡、对称、完整，善于如歌地表达感情和刻画人物的内心活动；后者较强调语言的特点，其旋律表情、音高起伏和节奏安排也接近人们生活中的口语和抒情表意的方式。
