岩体岩体rockmass在地质作用过程中经受过变形和破坏的,由一定岩石成分组成,并具有一定结构的、赋存于一定地质环境中的地质体。岩体是岩石的集合体。岩石的成因决定着岩石的联结类型和岩体的原生结构或产状。它们对岩体力学性能具有重要的影响。岩体内存在的原生的层理、层面及以后在地质作用中形成的断层、节理、劈理、层间错动面等各种类型的地质界面统称结构面。由结构面切割成的大小、形状不同的岩石块称结构体。结构面和结构体的组合称岩体结构。岩体结构的突出特点是不连续性。这种不连续性使岩体在力学性质上的各向异性更加增强。在受到力的作用时,岩体结构控制着岩体的变形和破坏。岩体是经过多次、多种、长期的地质作用形成的。岩体在形成过程中经历的地质作用分为建造过程和改造过程。这些过程使岩体和岩体所处的环境受到改变。如在建造过程中形成的粘土岩在高温高压作用下,发生变质作用,转变为板岩、千枚岩、片岩等变质岩。又如岩体在风化作用下隐节理变为显节理,同时还会产生新的节理和卸荷裂隙等,这样的结果使岩体的力学性能发生弱化或恶化。岩体的赋存环境也会因内、外地质作用改变了地应力场和地下水状况而发生变化。
