编者按
拿到这篇作文，我考虑的是：这篇作文到底要表达什么主题？什么也没说。个人认为，这和高考是有出入的，历年来的高考题会明确提出写什么主题，以给学生减轻写作负担，不至于离题。一旦离题，给判卷老师也带来麻烦。（这不是吐槽）
笔者将充分使用我的《十二句作文法》来解决看起来很难的作文题。我要说明的是，十二句不一定就是非要用十二句，十二句是分为五个版块的，每个版块1-3句。所以最终有可能就10句，或者更少。我之所以强调篇章框架先行，实际因为我们只有在写的时候才能激发灵感，因为有序的文字能唤醒你的脑细胞，空想无益啊。
我看了一下范文，确实很美，但这不是我们大多数考生能写到的分数。所以，我要实事求是站在考生的基础上，假想我的水平就是中等成绩的考生的水平，我如何写出高分作文？（有些人私下说，原来孙老师写作水平就是这样水平，这就是冤枉我了。孙老师怎么可能只写出17分的作文呢？我现在是设法把自己的写作海平面降下来）

请阅读下面短文，并按照要求用英语写一篇150词左右的文章。
As a man was passing the elephants, he suddenly stopped, confused by the fact that these huge creatures were being held by only a small rope tied to their front leg. No chains, and no cages either. It was obvious that the elephants could, at any time, break away from their bonds but for some reason, they did not.
He saw a trainer nearby and asked why these animals just stood there and made no attempt to get away. “Well,” trainer said, “when they are very young and much smaller we use the rope of the same size to tie them and, at that age, it’s enough to hold them. As they grow up, they are conditioned to believe they cannot break away.”
The man was amazed. These animals can break free from their bonds at any time, but because they believe they can’t, they are stuck right where they are.

1、通用句型：The message conveyed here is clear:…
2、在写某人该做某事时，在后面添一笔：instead of doing…（这个是从高考范文里总结来的）
第三句：（反向写，有的人绞尽脑汁想对上面的句子拓展，没有这个能力就不要绞了，再绞成渣了，要学会从反面写）
17分：Otherwise, he would not be able to think independently and creatively.
20 ：Otherwise, he would be deprived of the ability to think independently and creatively.
提示：表示没有，可以用be deprived of …
第四句：过渡句
Admittedly, it is hard to do so, but that is not to say there is no solution.
