花香宜人多药用春兰飘香，桃李争春。于是，春天成了百花盛开的季节。值得人们欣喜的是，百花盛开的季节也是使人到赏心悦目、强身健体的季节，花香宜人多药用。花香来自于一种油细胞，它把分泌出来的芳香油扩散到空气中，使得人们嗅到扑鼻的芳香。散发香味的鲜花在光合作用下，会越发幽香宜人。据历代医学证实，花香对人体好处甚多。药籍中曾记载：“泽兰，香舒脾，利关节”。医学研究表明，很多花的芳香用来治病效果极佳。如丁香、藿香等中药，都是利用它们的芳香来发挥治疗作用的；香叶天竺葵中含有香叶醇、香草醇和芳香醇，对人体疲劳、神经衰弱等症有较好治疗作用；龙胞香，还是治疗心脏病的良药呢。鸡冠花不仅观赏价值高，其营养成分也很高。含有人体所必须的氨基酸，如果每天食用二两鸡冠花瓣，将利于补充人体所需之氨基酸，有助于提高营养。其种子还含有大量脂肪和33%以上的蛋白质，如与小麦等谷物合磨后可作为理想的营养食物。民间以花为药极广泛。例如可用于止血的花卉就有映山红、蔷薇花、石榴花等花种；消炎止痛作用的有迎春花、苏铁花、茉莉花、木槿花等花种：用于解热止痛的有迎春花、茉莉花等花种；用于妇女诸病的有映山红、苏铁花、玫瑰花、桂花等花种。其他如腊梅花、山茶花、月季花、扶桑花、厚朴花、紫杜鹃花等均可入药治病。（来源：中国花卉报-05-29）
